Description

This artwork was inspired by a real experience I had during the day of this creative process. Here is the description that I shared with friends preceding the creation of this image.

"Was totally flabbergasted today when I went out for coffee as part of my shopping trip......3rd time within the last week (not usual for me btw) and each time was spontaneously given by the coffee shop staff a table number tag of "17"......ie the kind of tag or ticket number they give you so they know who orders are for etc. Now my unit number that I live in is also number 17, so the concept of synchronicity popped into my mind and made me extra curious about what this might mean! (btw the shop number tags are all together on the counter next to the cash register, where coffee shop staff just reach in to take any number ......ie numbers sit in individual holders that sit on the table)"

This experience moved me deeply as I've experiences synchronicity before in my life, but not in such an obvious and profound way that especially involved virtual strangers in this way. This was not just a coincident, but I felt a kind of subliminal message for me to be more mindful in my life for universal or spiritual messages that may come my way in any form or fashion.

I don't feel I'm meant to worry or obsess about this experience, but meanwhile it was fun to feel so inspired by the impact of this on my day so as to create something in honor of the mysteriousness of the number 17 in my life.
