This is an up close and personal photograph of a Jacaranda tree in full bloom here in Sydney Australia during spring 2017. I absolutely love this time of the year when Jacaranda trees flower everywhere in my neighborhood. Love these trees to bits and especially love the trees that grow beside and in the park opposite to where I live. I pass them nearly every day when I go out walking or shopping and today I stopped and looked at the tree growing within the park area lovingly, as I do each time I pass it. It is my favorite only because I can go right up to it and hug it if I want to as well as see the details of the blossoms more clearly. Today I gazed at the blossoms for quite a while feeling my heart wanting to lose myself in them, and as I did a thought popped into my head that I should create and artwork out of previous photos I'd taken of these blossoms only days before. As lovely as these trees are I could imagine these blossoms on their own decorating walls or anything one wished to cover these delightful blossoms and their colour with. I find gazing at Jacaranda flowers very uplifting and just wish they bloomed for longer. Their blossoms start in mid to late Oct and last to the end of November here in Sydney. The green area which I live in is dotted with blueish purple all over the place from the many Jacaranda trees growing in my area and surrounding suburbs. I've noticed that depending on the light of the day these flowers can look blue or mauve, so I've created this image by adding a stronger tone of mauve or purple through the use of a digital medium. This is also why I've named this Blossom Bliss 1. The bluer version of this image called just Blossom Bliss is also in my gallery on this site.

I've also used a digital medium to add an HDR effect so as to bring out the details of the blossoms in this image.

This artwork would look lovely on a wall, a card, clothing or other items offered for sale on Fine Art America or Pixel.
