Description
This is a digitalised version of my original painting of Artemis Now, where I like the different effects of her almost seeming to be sculptured or stonelike. To me there seems a surreal feel to this, that almost makes her look more goddess like and ancient. She seems tough and strong as Artemis was and at the same time extremely feminine. Artemis was a Greek Goddess of wildlife as well as caring for women and children. Her Roman counterpart was Diana and she was the daughter of the goddess Demeter, one of my favourites.
