This was a photo I took of a Suphur Crested White Cockatoo that I took, which was sitting on my 2nd floor balcony wall. I live in Sydney Australia and in a north western suburb of Sydney that's very green with lots of trees growing, as well as our well know Australian natives. I also live opposite a really nice park where large flocks of these birds live or visit. I love these birds even though they can be quite noisy but their intelligence, sense of fun and over all cheeky fun loving characters really appeal to me. They occasionally visit my balcony just to check things out and have a chew on anything interesting. I know they can be a nuisance in some part of Australia, but they are endearing to me and as long as I keep necessary precautions, they will do me and my property no harm.
They live in hollows of trees but they have fun everywhere on the daily jaunts around the suburbs here. So although they nest in trees they are seen everywhere, livening the environment of wher...
As a creative person all my life I've been drawn to expressing myself through drawing, painting and poetry.
