This is a photo of a large bolder as seen from my adult daughter's back yard in Beacon Hill, Sydney Australia. The bolder is being shaded by a tree fern and is also surrounded by lots of lower growing natural bush-land fern as well as other native trees, grasses etc. My daughter's home is built into a hill that adjoins to a natural bush-land park/reserve in the Northern Beaches area of Sydney Australia.
I did a drawing of this area at one stage and experienced a most amazing feeling of connection to an ancient timeless land that this rock was part of! It felt like some kind of Dejavu or almost magical experience and as I continued my drawing the energy from this land filled me in such an amazing way, so much so that I didn't want to stop! Such was the spiritual feeling from this that I experienced, that I could understand what the Australian aboriginals meant by the 'dream time'......as my feelings being experienced felt very much part of some kind of huge and ancient myst...
As a creative person all my life I've been drawn to expressing myself through drawing, painting and poetry. Also as an eclectic in most areas of my life, my artworks also express that and fun in creating is what inspires me at any given time.
