In my life and particularly in my dealing with others, I often find myself quoting this which is one of my favourite quotes. These words originated from the mouth of Jesus Christ, who is one of my favourite and inspirational figures from the bible.
Too often in the world we live in there are those who adamantly profess all kinds of truths and somewhat dogmatically try to impose them onto others. My philosophy is what is right for one is not necessarily right of good for another and I believe our beliefs go a long a way into shaping who we are and where we are destined to go on our life's journey. So just as the saying 'Be careful what you wish' for applies in our lives, then so could the saying 'Be careful what you believe' apply equally.
Although these words originate from the Christian teachings they may equally apply to anyone of any faith or belief.....even an agnostic or athiest!
This saying is inspired by words from Matthew 9:29
