Description
This is a bunch of dandelion flowers I had in a vase for sentimental reasons after picking them from the weeds growing by the side of the road. After a couple of days I was surprised to see them doing their own usual thing that I imagined only happened outside in their natural settings. So they had mostly formed their seed heads whilst a few were still dying off from their yellow blossoms. I was so excited when I saw these I took lots of photos and came up with a couple that I really liked......this being one of them. Have added a slight texture effect as well as adding extra digital effects to enhance all aspects of this image. I particularly like how that in this image one can see virtually all transitions of what happens to the dandelion flowers ergo its title.
Also I must remind those who may not know that the dandelion is a powerful healing and detox herb and plant, known for its liver cleansing properties especially, but I also love it as a tea which I drink regularly.

Amazing closeup, giving dignity and form to a flower we so easily discount. But dandelions are beautiful! Perhaps it is only because they are so common that we don't appreciate them. Excellent photo, beautiful treatment of a tenacious, textured flower.
