A photograph I took from within the cafe and of the seats I love to sit on while I relax with my coffee and homemade Island cake and listen to some lovely background music provided by the cafe owners.

A beautiful spot, nicely capture, Leanne. We used to go boating quite often on the Hawkesbury River, but I don't think I have ever stopped off at Dangar Island. V&F

Thanks Kaye for your comment and v/f. I have often taken a trip to Hawksbury River by train and then taken the ferry over to Dangar Island. I either have a meal at Brooklyn or on the Island. It can be such a magical place and last spring after all the rain we'd been having it was a floral paradise. There's an especially nice scenic walk around the island, as well as a small beach on the other side from where I've taken some of my fav photos too.
