This is a photograph I took of the beautiful Hawksbury River in NSW Australia. The photo was taken from an Island that is in the middle of this river and a lovely spot for holiday makers and all kinds of visitors as well as their being some permanent local residents who live on this island. It's been one of my favourite spots to visit and it's just an hour train ride from Sydney city with lovely views along the way. The island is only a 15-20 minute boat ride from Hawksbury River station and the small township by the station called Brooklyn. On the Island there's a cafe come emmergency goods supply store and a ferry that runs approximately hourly back and forth between the mainland. To really enjoy this place especially on the river one can catch a round about trip that goes to another stop off which can take up to an hour on the water........lovely as I have done this often! And to enjoy the Island even more so there's a lovely walk one can do around it where one can see all the...
