This was a photograph I came across quite accidentally that I had stored on my laptop sent to me by my daughter in 2017.

My lovely adult daughter had just been visiting and we have a fun night playing cards, eating chocolate and drinking coffee for me and in her case Camomile tea. So after all was said and done we went to bed, she in my spare room and me in mine and in the morning before she left to go home to her own place, we had some very deep and meaning discussions on the concept of God, Jesus, belief, faith and shared much of how this was different for us as individuals. My daughter is a very serious born again Christian lady and I'm an eclectic in my beliefs respecting all faith with their differences while at the same time having a deep respect for the man called Jesus.

So just before she left I came across this photograph and felt inspired to do something with it and asked her permission if I could play around with it creatively as I've done. She kindly said yes so here it is. I initially wanted to call it "Up, Up and Away" because of how those clouds seemed to reach up high into the stratosphere. I played around with the image for along time trying all kinds of different things and effects when finally I felt that it would be great to fill that sky with some lovely words of wisdom. This is one of my favorite sayings from the bible because I've had to learn to be patient most of my life through all kinds of struggles and challenges. These words helped to sustain me at times and served as reminder of the value in patience. At the same time this creation for me at this time is a lovely way to honor the special time spent with my daughter given our shared beliefs as well as differences.

The quote is one that I found online but the saying is almost exactly the same as the one I've had at home stuck up on my kitchen cupboard for many years and originating from the same biblical source.

This would make a lovely card, poster or wall hanging as the words are too special not to share.
