Description

This is a photograph taken by me on Dangar Island of the lush bushland that inhabits this special area. This island is in the middle of the Hawksbury River which is on the outskirts of Sydney in NSW Australia. The island is a favourite spot for holiday makers, tourists and visitors to this magical place. A regular ferry services this island and there is a small shop that also services the island locals as well as being a coffee and snack/cake shop for visitors. The shop looks out over the river and on a fine day the front of the shop's glassed walled.windows are pulled completely open, so that one can relax in the comfortable cane armchairs provided for customers to relax in whilst gazing over the river views and sipping drinks etc. A million miles from care!
