Description
This is an inspired semi abstract or abstract artwork of mine using a previous artwork called Mirrored Light. The title is inspired by the current heatwave happening in Sydney, specifically on the 7th January 2018 when temperatures soared up to 43C/109.4F, which I've never before experienced here in Sydney Australia. Temps in my part of Sydney reached 44.3C/111.74F!
I've used various digital effects with this image which initially was an amethyst rock crystal. I was fascinated in how by adding different digital effects in layers this image evolved to this final resulting artwork. The energy and light captured and created in this image mirrors well the title I feel.....that of heat being reflected on water.
