This artwork was created from a previous artwork of mine of the same name which is in my Fine Art America portfolio.
The botanical name for this flower is Taraxacum and the whole plant is edible. I personally love dandelion tea and drink it daily as a health drink with half and half water to milk. The tea is good aa a natural diuretic and dandelion is also good for keeping the liver healthy.
With the original artwork I used a digital medium to turn the image into a purely black and white image and then very gently and slowly slightly turned up the coloring. And with this image I've used the same digital medium to turn up some more color into this image which I quite like. Also added a few other effects to finish up with this virtually abstract image while leaving a slight realistic image that can still be identified as dandelion.
This image can suit any space or room where a less obtrusive image is required to offset its surrounds.
