Description
This was originally a photograph of an autumn leaf that I saw on a bush as I was out walking. I really love the color of autumn leaves and crimson leaves always excite me more so in some way. This leaf was perfectly crimson, fresh and new, so hadn't lain around on the ground. The vibrancy of it was still there even after I carried it in my pocket on the way home. Took a photograph of it and then played around for hours with different creative things I could do with it. Finally when I was all worn out from other attempts, I cropped the leaf image, placed it over another digital canvas and then erased all the background image from the leaf, leaving it transparent. This was done specifically as a designed for tea shirts and other Fine Art America or Pixel apparel. But to be able to upload this image on to Fine Art America I had to create a background and here it is on another red canvas which to be emboldens the crimson leaf and adds drama and excitement. This image as a non apparel artwork could suit any interior where the color is needed to lift and add life to the surrounds. Energy is the byword of red, so this image exudes energy, passion and would look wonderful in the setting such as a deep green wall (as an example only) where the colors could compliment one another........imagination is all that's needed with this design.
Personally I've never liked the colour red except for crimson.......crimson I love and hope you love it too!

Nicely done! Love the red on red. As I look at this and then look again, it appears to be a pair of lips floating in red air. L/F
