Description
This is an original black pen ink drawing of mine done as a doodle that made it very free flowing and unstructured, allowing my imagination free reign. I'm sure this could be analysed by a professional shrink and much could be made of it, but for me it was something I did just for fun and it may well have also been somewhat cathartic for me in the process. Of course this was done a long time ago as the year 1987 is in the bottom corner, so now in 2013, I'm imagining this to be somehow symbolic of my becoming a singe woman again after many years of married life. At that time the challenges were great and some of this could show up in this drawing; like the small child and spider's web possibly representing my fears and anxieties that were there for my inner child. The bottle representing a need for nourishment possibly for the child. But there's an over-riding sense of fun around this never the less; probably to do with my optimistic nature that got me through many challenges around that time.
