Description
This image was created from another artwork I have on my portfolio called "Dandelion Transitions". I've done some digitally processing on this image through the use of a digital medium. I've created a mirrored affect with this image thereby creating double aspects of the original artwork. I particularly like those two main stems of dandelion towards the center of the image because these bare the very early stages of the seed heads that look quite stunning and dramatic. This mirrored effect has inspired me to add a word of inspiration given the the setting of this mirrored image lends itself to that I feel. The word I chose was 'breath' as in the verb 'to breath'.
The simplicity of the subject matter of this artwork reminded of the simplicity of what we need to do in life above all else.....that is to breath, and in the frantic world of all kinds of political plots, media circuses, environmental challenges, the one thing we need to remember is to breath; and sometimes in doing that alone we can tap into the inner stillness needed that can enable us to ride the somewhat challenging 'waves' of life. The breath can be a powerful tool in discovering who we are as human beings and should never be undervalued. Rushing about from one thing to another can leave us out of breath and out of the essentials in life that bring us joy and peace. The state of one's breath can be one's first indication that one needs to realign oneself to one's inner master rather than to the outer worldly ones.
This image could be used as an aid for healing, meditation and as an aid to developing the consciousness one needs for one's own personal journey in life. Or it can just be a lovely natural light artwork that could enhance any space where it was needed.
