Description
A charcoal drawing of a 'bedsit' that I lived in for a short while about 25 years ago or more, whilst in an important healing transitional period of my life. The room was partially furnished with a single bed, a single wardrobe and this old leather armchair. I had a little furniture of my own that helped make this room cosy, as well as a fantastic huge photograph of a wonderful waterfall that I had laminated and blue tacked onto an area where there used to be a fireplace. Through the doorway behind the chair was a very small kitchenette with a small fridge, stove and a few cupboards. Needless to say I went out a lot for meals to the local club where they served excellent food. This bedsit was in a very old terrace house in the Inner West of Sydney in Australia. Oh and who knows how old that leather chair was! :-)
