I've had a beautiful cactus plant on my balcony wall in a pot and it's opening process has fascinated me for some time. Its blossom open up at night time only and often don't live much longer than the following morning, if that, depending on the day time temps. So this month in November here I've been taking photos of the plant at all times of the day and night so as to record it's flowering stages and appearances. This collage is the end result.
Some of these photos were taken at night when it was first opening up and so on, which explains the different lighting. Also I felt that this flowering was special because it had produced two buds that had flowered......so double the joy!
