This is a photo I've taken in Sydney Australia of some wonderful branches from a local Jacaranda tree in full bloom. This is huge old tree growing behind some very old buildings overlooking a park where another Jacaranda grows. I can see these trees from where I live in a top floor unit overlooking the park. The colours seem to jump out at me even when I'm in my dining or living room as I look out across this area. This photo was just so perfect for me and expression of exactly what I was looking for......ergo my title......which meant there was no digital work or alterations done to this photo.
A tree often carries the history of a place where it grows. I get a sense of history with this tree particularly as it grows next to old buildings that may be 100 years old or more and grows in an area which has gone through many transitions over the last 100+ years. This area was originally farm land, but now has been developed into suburbia, but has kept it's lovely green quality with many big old trees growing everywhere. This area is in Sydney Australia so it's recent and ancient history is very mixed with many stories kept hidden and/or stored within its landscape.
