This artwork was created after a new year discussion I'd had with someone which developed into a heated discussion and a virtual argument.....much to my dismay and disappointment. The day after when the 'heat' had died down and I was out having coffee after a delightful foot massage, I was reading a somewhat spiritual book called "A Thousand Names for Joy" by Byron Katie and this question virtually popped into my head. This happened I realised in hindsight because somehow the trauma of the previous day's event had entered my consciousness, not just on a mental or emotional plane, but also on a cellular level......so effectively the memory of this experience was stored in my body and mind and I was needing to process it for my own need for resolution within myself of what had happened.
I had already said some strong prayers about this, as well as practicing as much as I was able at the time forgiveness and letting go. But what was lingering about was as a result of the relationships that were involved on the day and my concern for those present. So after more prayers and conscious attentiveness to my own thought processed, which is highly recommended in the book I am reading, creating this has helped in my letting go and letting God so to speak.
I have found in my very long life that often 'RIGHT' and 'TRUTH' is mixed up and in the process souls lose their way. It's good to stop, reflect and examine one's own perception and understanding on this matter and if done in a quiet and peaceful way the truth can set us free.
This image could be used in many different ways or serve as some kind of a tool to aid much needed introspection when or where needed.
I have created two versions of this same artwork to give buyers another option to choose from.

I'll tell you what happens, Leanne. Truth is drowned in a sea of irrelevance. That's what happens, and tragically, that's exactly what has happened around the world, especially here in The U.S. We no longer have truth. We have truthiness, which is a euphemism for anything that make us feel good. If it makes us feel good, then, ti's got to be true. Otherwise, it's false, no matter what. The British author Aldous Huxley foresaw the tragedy of today's world more than a century ago. He's the one who wrote the world-famous dystopian novel, BRAVE NEW WORLD.

Here, here Hartmut....I totally agree, but there are too many others, as well as politicians who have similar agendas, where being right is all that matters regardless of consequences. Thanks for your comment here meanwhile Hartmut.
